Texting with Mango.

Mango sends text messages from (475) 619-1400. There are two separate kinds, and agreeing to one never signs you up for the other.
1. Sign-in texts (one-time)
When you enter your mobile number on stamford.fyi and tap “Text me a sign-in link”, you are asking for exactly one text: a one-time sign-in link that works once and expires shortly. We send one message per request, and nothing else. Requesting a sign-in link does not subscribe you to recommendations, reminders, or any recurring texts. If you never text Mango yourself, the only texts you will ever receive are the sign-in links you request.
2. Conversations with Mango (recurring)
You can text Mango at (475) 619-1400 to ask what’s happening in Stamford, get a recommendation, join a plan, or offer to host one. Sending Mango a text message is how you opt in: by texting first you agree to receive replies in that conversation, follow-ups about the plan you are discussing (for example a sign-in link you asked for or confirmation that you joined), and occasional unprompted suggestions of upcoming Stamford plans. On your first text Mango sends a one-time confirmation of these terms. Message frequency varies with how often you text; unprompted suggestions are occasional and are never sent to a number that has not texted Mango first.
Stopping and getting help
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out. You’ll get one final confirmation and then no further texts from (475) 619-1400, including sign-in links, until you reply START. Because sign-in works over text, opting out also pauses signing in to the website with that number.
- Reply HELP for help, or email support@trillium.one.
- You can also cancel plan-related texts by leaving a plan or deleting your account in Profile.
Cost and carriers
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Mango is available on major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Mango is for adults 18 and over.
Your number
Your phone number and your text-messaging opt-in are used only to operate Mango: to sign you in, to reply to you, and to send the messages described above. They are never shown to other members and are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
